Visa Eksyma has been a resident of Nevada County since 1990. He  was born above the  Arctic Circle in Finland and raised in a small country town near Helsinki. He first visited the Nevada County as an exchange student and graduated at Nevada Union High School in 1984. Falling in love with the Yuba River and the natural beauty of Nevada County, Visa chose to make his home here.

Visa loves outdoor activites; biking, hiking and gardening. He has also dedicated years of study to blues guitar and is part of the local music scene. Visa has had an ‘intuitive knowing’ for massage since his teenage years and has developed his skills as a massage therapist to a professional level. He graduated from Phillips School of Massage in the Spring of 2003 at the top of his class under instruction and tutelage of Brad Wathen. Visa has developed his own unique style, integrating different massage modalities such as Swedish massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. Visa currently has 274 hrs certified education.

While Visa continues to practice and learn the art of massage and broaden his scope and understanding of Integrative bodywork, he is dedicated to health, healing and well-being. Visa is passionate about massage and considers his practice fun, challenging and most of all…Rewarding!
