Myofascial Release Therapy
This technique deals with the connective tissue of the body. Fascia is a complex supportive web throughout the body that affects all the components of the myosceletal, nervous and visceral systems. Like muscle, the connective tissue can become tight and sore referring pain to other parts of the body and can cause postural distortions restricting range of motion.
Treating myofascia consists of kneading, pinching, rubbing and stretching. This can sometimes bring discomfort but it effectively brakes down accumulated toxins in the connective tissue introducing oxygen to the area, removing accumulated toxins enhancing muscle and skin tone.
