Post Massage Recovery
If you have never experienced a Deep Tissue Integrative Massage plan to take few hours for yourself after the session to recover. Deep massage frees toxins from the connective and muscle tissues; to assist your body process and expel toxins, it’s recommended you keep yourself well hydrated after your session. You may feel somewhat disoriented, perhaps slightly ill, which is normal and should go away within couple of hours.
You may feel sore, similar to soreness following a good workout. It may sometimes take more than a week to get over feeling sore, depending on your level of health, amount of exercise and diet. Take your favorite, over the counter pain medication to manage soreness and discomfort or apply a cold pack to the area. You may also experience some bruising, which should fade away in a couple of days. Your body is now ready to heal itself. Take a nap after a massage; it's the best!
Keep moving, go for a walk, ride a bike, swim; your body is made for movement and you will heal faster!!!
